The Battery Show Europe 2024 concluded on June 20 in Stuttgart, Germany. Villo Technology (hereinafter referred to as "Villo") made a significant impact with the debut of its cutting-edge central dust collection and explosion protection system, specifically designed for lithium battery production, receiving widespread attention and acclaim.
As one of the largest exhibitions in the European battery industry, this year's event attracted over 1,100 battery brands, equipment manufacturers, and industry suppliers from around the world. They gathered to showcase the latest solutions in battery and electric and hybrid vehicle technologies.
This year marked Villo's second participation in the event. Villo unveiled its latest central dust collection and explosion protection system for the first time. This system is specifically designed to address the unique dust challenges in lithium battery production by collecting dust from various production points and processing it centrally. By placing the central dust collection system outside the workshop, it optimizes plant space usage, reduces secondary pollution, simplifies maintenance costs, and lowers noise levels. Additionally, the production of lithium batteries generates combustible dust, which poses a significant explosion risk if not properly managed. To address this, Villo equipped the central dust collection system with multiple explosion protection systems, ensuring enhanced safety for lithium battery production lines.
Villo has long been committed to the development of industrial dust collection and explosion protection technologies. With leading advantages in the lithium battery industry and extensive practical experience, Villo has established itself as a trusted partner for top global battery brands and equipment manufacturers. Villo has provided over 40,000 sets of equipment for various battery production processes worldwide, including mixing, calendering, slitting, die-cutting, stacking, winding, busbar welding, and laser marking.
Furthermore, Villo's ATEX-certified explosion-proof equipment was a highlight of the exhibition. ATEX is a directive for equipment and protective systems intended for use in explosive atmospheres within the EU's CE certification. Villo's ATEX-certified products, including dust collectors, vacuum cleaners, and explosion-proof accessories, are widely recognized and respected in the industry and are suitable for multiple conditions in lithium battery production.
In addition to technological innovations in dust collection, Villo is dedicated to providing rapid local support for overseas customers. Villo's German subsidiary, established in 2020, aims to offer comprehensive on-site support and parts supply services to European customers. Additionally, Villo has technical service centers in Japan and South Korea, with more overseas branches and service points in the pipeline. This localized approach enables Villo to efficiently support and meet the personalized needs of overseas markets, ensuring timely support and assistance during usage, thereby enhancing overall customer satisfaction and market competitiveness.
As the world accelerates towards carbon neutrality, the demand for lithium batteries continues to grow, highlighting the increasing importance of safety and environmental technologies. Villo remains committed to contributing innovative solutions for lithium battery production in support of global sustainability and zero-carbon goals. Building on the success at The Battery Show Europe, Villo will showcase its latest technologies at The Battery Show USA in October. We look forward to seeing you there.
